Unlike the Channel Islands there are no restrictions as to who can buy property. You may find with more recently built properties that there is a Planning Section 106 that requires certain criteria to be met for a would be purchaser. Land is very rarely for sale due to planning policy. Most properties on St. Mary's are freehold except for the farms and The Garrison. All properties on the off islands are leasehold to the Duchy of Cornwall.

We do not deal ourselves with holiday lettings or long term rentals. We work closely with Scilly Self Catering who are the largest holiday let business on the islands.

We don't carry out surveys or conveyancing but we do have reliable professional contacts that we can recommend.

Travel is via a 15min flight from lands end using the Isle Of scilly Steamship company's Skybus or from Penzance using Penzance Helicopters, alternatively a 2:30 hours ferry crossing from Penzance.
